For the third year in a row Oracle Band was invited to headline at the annual FutureCare Canton Harbor Harvest Festival, a street fair located just a couple of blocks from the Baltimore waterfront.

When planning for an outdoor event in the fall one must always keep an eye on the antics of Mother Nature, who could throw anything from an early winter cold snap to a tropical storm at you without even blinking.  Last year we actually got a bit sunburned from the sun's rays.

Unfortunately 2009 was not to be a repeat of 2008, and Mother Nature paid a visit to let us all know just who is boss, as the temperature never made it above 44 degrees and it rained most of the afternoon.

Of course that did not deter some folks, and for these hearty souls we put on the best show we could as the cold air and dampness played havoc with our delicate instruments. The pumpkins were still plump, we received a visit from the Baltimore Raves mascot who energized the crowd, & the food was still super.

We're thrilled to announce that we have already been invited back for an unprecedented fourth straight year, and we're hoping that 2010 will bring back the tradition of bright sunshine for this wonderful event.
