Recommended Books on Wedding Planning

Wedding Planning books to help you have the wedding of your dreams, maintain your sanity, and stay on budget

The following publications on wedding planning have been reviewed by members of Oracle Band and have been recommended as being helpful in preparing for your wedding day.  We have on occasion added some editorial comments, which we hope will help in making your evaluations.

While there are literally hundreds (thousands?) of books available on the subject, these are the ones we have actually seen that we feel might be the most helpful to someone planning or helping to plan a wedding, be it a bride, groom, parent, relative or friend.

Husband & wife team Denise Fields and Alan Fields continue to reveal tips, secrets, and sage advice on planning a wedding without breaking the bank.  Although many of their suggestions are somewhat dubious, for the most part this is an excellent reference that is sure to save the budget minded bride or groom much more than the cost of the book.

A companion to the "Bridal Bargains" book, this is one of the better planners available on the market.  More in-depth than most of the free downloadable ones, and less likely to push you towards purchases you really DON'T have to make
