Directions to Jim's Hideaway

Directions From I-95 from the DC area

From I-95 in Maryland go north from the DC Beltway, and get off at the Route 32 exit heading east. Go about 5 miles and you'll pass the main gate to Fort Meade at Route 198.  Stay on Route 32.

Go to the next exit past the light at Fort Meade, which is Route 175.  There is only one exit, which splits at the bottom of the exit ramp.  Stay to the right on the exit ramp and turn RIGHT onto Route 175.  

Go to the 2nd traffic light and turn RIGHT onto Morgan Rd (there is a bank on the corner).  Follow this down to a stop sign (that you don't have to stop at) and bear RIGHT onto Odenton Rd.  Jim's Hideaway is located just 1 block up on the left.

Directions From Northern Montgomery County (the back way...for the adventurous)

This route IS shorter, although it uses many back roads.  During rush hour it is also significantly faster as you avoid the Beltway completely.

Depending on where you live, you want to work your way over to Route 108.  From the Damascus area you can just take Route 108 right out of town.  From the Gaithersburg area you can either come across Goshen Road to Route 108, or take Muncaster Road off of Muncaster Mill Road. 

Follow Route 108 through Olney.  At Olney Theater stay on Route 108 by bearing to the left, and follow up to the traffic light at New Hampshire Ave in Ashton.  

Continue straight on Route 32 and go another 8 miles or so.  In Clarksville, turn RIGHT onto Route 32 east.  There is a BIG sign there...you can't miss it.

Follow Route 32 east for about 10 miles.  Eventually you'll come into an area with a couple of traffic lights.  You'll pass the main gate to Fort Meade at Route 198.  Stay on Route 32.

Go to the next exit past the light at Route 198, which is Route 175.  There is only one exit, which splits at the bottom of the exit ramp.  Stay to the right on the exit ramp and turn RIGHT onto Route 175.

Directions From Rockville

From Rockville take Route 28 (Norbeck Road) east.  You will cross Georgia Ave at Leisure World...stay straight on Norbeck Rd.  Follow this to the end at Layhill Rd.  

Turn LEFT onto Layhill Road and follow to New Hampshire Ave.  Turn LEFT on New Hampshire Ave, and go to the next light and turn RIGHT onto Route 108.
